Dr. Sahar Wertheimer, an esteemed Obstetrician and Gynecologist, possesses a multifaceted approach to her medical practice. Fluent in English, Hebrew, and conversational in Farsi, she prioritizes providing the highest quality of care to all her patients, while supporting their fertility journey with utmost respect and compassion. Driven by her passion for educating women on their reproductive health, she goes above and beyond her clinical responsibilities.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Wertheimer serves as the Chair of the Women’s Health Committee for the Jewish Orthodox Women’s Medical Association (JOWMA). She has established a monthly webinar broadcast that tackles various women’s health topics, attracting a substantial audience of over 2,000 live viewers. Through these initiatives, she strives to empower women with knowledge and enable them to make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Wertheimer’s commitment to advancing the field of reproductive medicine is evident through her dedicated research efforts. Her focus lies in genomics research, particularly exploring the epigenetics of the placenta, as well as identifying markers of androgen excess in polycystic ovary syndrome and hirsutism. Her expertise in these areas has led her to author and co-author publications that cover a wide range of reproductive and prenatal-related topics.
