Hi, I'm 22 years old and was diagnosed with uterine cancer when I was 20. Unfortunately I had my uterus removed as well as my cervix. I have healthy ovaries that according to my doctor are functioning normally. I'm not undergoing any menopause or anything. I would like to know is there a way to retrieve my eggs and fertilize them with my husband's sperm for me to possibly have my own children in the future? I obviously would need a surrogate since I dont have a uterus anymore but I am hoping there is a treatment option for me. Please get back to me soon because I found out my cancer is back again just today and I am looking into freezing my eggs before I start my treatment if it is possible.

Thanks,
Tnguyen

I would love to setup an appointment with you but the thing is, I want to make sure first if there is a way for me to remove my eggs and still be successful in having my own baby? I see my doctor this Friday and he is going to propose his plan for me to treat my cancer but I want to be able to explain to him first about what I intend on doing with my eggs.

As you mentioned in your previous note, you can freeze eggs, so I am not sure what you are asking now. If you need a specific question related to your situation answered before scheduling an appointment, please call me at 818-788-7288. I am at that number today until 3 and tomorrow afternoon.
