Hi my wife and I have a child (13 yrs old) already but unfortunately she has been unable to get pregnant again. She is 40 yrs old, When child was like 7 she stopped taking anti-contraceptives but nothing. She had a couple of little surgical procedures last yr (to remove ovarian cyst and gallbladder) don't know if that has anything to do with it. Or is probably Me somehow. Any suggestion or logical explanation?

Age of your wife plays a big role in the inability to conceive again, but the sperm can also be a factor in 40% of couples. I recommend you make an appointment with the infertility specialist as soon as possible, to review your records and recommend testing to see where the difficulties are. There are many options for couples trying to have a second child - don't give up.
