My husband and I went through infertility testing and he is infertile/sterile and I am going through ovarian failure so my doctor at that time stated my best chance is using donor eggs and sperm. My sister is willing to donate her eggs but she just had her first baby three weeks ago. How long after giving birth do you have to wait to donate your eggs? Also how successful is going through IVF with donated eggs and sperm? I am 37 and husband is 44. My sister did IUI (I believe its called) and got pregnant the first try and she is 31. Also since I went through all the prior tests about 2 years ago will I need to redo them when I come in? Or do I need to just get the test results and information from my previous doctor?

Thank you

Firstly, your age does not matter when it comes to success rates with donor eggs.
Secondly, has your husband been evaluated to see if he might have sperm in his testes? Sometimes, we can get sperm directly from the testis. Finally, I would suggest your sister wait at least 6 months before she acts as a donor. She would also have to be done breastfeeding. As for testing, it depends which test your are talking about. Some things might need repeating. If you would like to learn more about how egg donation works, or to find about extracting sperm, please call 818-788-7288 to arrange a consultation with me.

My tubes have been tide for five years. And I want another baby. I have been thinking sperm donor bank and having the sperm injected into my eggs. I want to know what are my chances of carrying it full term if my tubes have been clipped and tied. And what is the price for the services here in Arkansas?

Sexyyella - the tubes being tied do not affect your chances of becoming pregnant with IVF or carrying a pregnancy....so long as your uterus has no issues.
The prices will depend what clinic you are going to in Arkansas.

Best.
