Is PICSI (ICSI) an option at HRC, and does it improve outcomes in patients with a history of repeated IVF failures from poor embryo quality or abnormal PGS testing? Thanks.

The purpose of PICSI is to improve selection of sperm for couples with male factory infertility. It might be helpful in cases with high degrees of DNA fragmentation. There is not a lot of data on its empirical use with good sperm. Most embryo quality issues are egg-related. It is unlikely to affect PGD results. PICSI is not expensive, so if things aren't going well, it wouldn't hurt to try.
