I cycled successfully at the Laguna Hills HRC in January 2007, and have a healthy 3 yo daughter. I was 33 at the time and am now 37. We had male factor infertility (husband had vasectomy reversed but low sperm count. My diagnosis was clear other that the slightest bit of insulin resistance. In the last year and a half, I have had several episodes that my OB/GYN said was probably a ruptured ovarian cyst, which were horribly painful. My concern is that I am looking to try IVF again through HRC, but am worried about my seemingly changed status with my ovaries and possibly even fibroids. How would this effect my chances do you think? Previously we were given about a 60% chance, and of course I know I am older now. I am worried, since the one ultrasound after this event happened (no other US's done) didn't show any cyst. I'm also afraid it could be PCOS starting up. Thank you for your time.

When you return for your consult, you will have an ultrasound of your uterus and ovaries. If no cysts are seen, there is nothing to worry about.
