We attended Dr. Feinman's seminar in Encino this week and found it quite informative. He had mentioned during the Q&A session afterwards that his IVF protocol rarely requires OCP and Lupron these days. Is there a reason for this change?

In most cases, we have replaced Lupron with a newer family of drugs called antagonists. These protocols are shorter, use less injections, and are less likely to cause hyperstimulation syndrome. In fact, with antagonists, we have a way of totally preventing this complication. I'm glad you liked the seminar!
