Hi-my name is Kimberly. I'm 23 and have been TTC since March 2015. I got pregnant in July but miscarried 6 weeks later after a lot of pain and bleeding and visits to my primary doctor. When I went to see an OBGYN, they didn't tell me not to get pregnant right away, and I had another miscarriage in November. I'm trying to take care of myself this time, but I'm feeling bad and cry about the two miscarriages. I would like to know your thoughts about this and maybe give me any suggestions on what can I do to have a healthy pregnancy when I try next time.

Hello Kimberly, I am very sorry to hear about your miscarriages.
They are very common and it is very likely that you will be doing just great with your next pregnancy. If you prefer, you may consider seeing a fertility specialist and initiate an evaluation for recurrent pregnancy loss. Most likely, though, you will be told that there is nothing wrong with you, and those events were coincidental.
I wish you best of luck this year, and let us know if we can be of any assistance.
