My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for nearly 3 years now and have been unsuccessful. We had a semen analysis done and he has low motility at 11%, but a fairly high count. We don't have medical coverage for infertility and went through one IUI with no success. At this point, I am wanting to move forward with IVF and was about to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kolb. The physician I used for my IUI put me on clomid and I had six great follicles for the IUI, but still didn't conceive. I was curious if it would be possible for me to donate some of my eggs to help pay for the IVF process at your office. I am in my mid twenties and have been told that my egg quality is great.

Hello - There are a number of ways we may be able to help without you having to donate your own eggs. Although you are in your mid-twenties and have great egg quality as you mentioned, I would prefer to explore other options first to help you achieve your dream. You may contact my office to schedule an appointment and I will be happy to provide you with a consultation and ultrasound at no charge. We do understand that insurance companies usually have limited fertility benefits; therefore we work closely with all our patients to provide them with affordable treatment options.

Best,
Dr. Kolb
