Is IUI an acceptable procedure (Can it be successful?) if i have 2 small endometrial polyps, less then 7mm and my husband's specimen test came back normal, except morphology was less then 6?

The endometrial polyps can be significant depending on their size and location in the uterus. If an HSG report shows a suspicion of uterine polyps and the patient has infertility, then I would recommend a follow up procedure with diagnostic hysteroscopy by a specialist to evaluate the presence of a polyp and decide if it should be removed.

A semen parameter with 6% normal morphology can be significant if the analysis was done using Kreuger's criteria. In that case, this 6% finding would be a marginal finding, and IUI may be utilized for conception. We generally see low rates of success when morphology is below 4% with Kreuger criteria.

I hope this helps you move forward.

Hi, I was wondering if it matters to purchase donor sperm that is ICI or IUI. There is a price difference, but I'm not sure of which to purchase. Also, is CMV positive better or worse than CMV negative. I had the chicken pox as a child already and I am an RN in the hospital setting. I just saw my doctor today, but somehow, the questions always come to my mind AFTER my visit. I don't want to constantly call and bug him! Please help, doctors! I plan on doing my IUI cycles at the Encino location.
