Hi. I'm interested in traveling to US for gender selection. I have frozen embryos, and understand I can have them sent to US to be thawed, PGD tested and transferred back. What happens to the other embryos? Can you refresh them?

Thank you for your question. The answer is yes, you can refreeze embryos. The process and any potential impact on the embryos will depend on a number of factors, including the quality of the embryos and how and when the embryos were frozen. We would need to review the lab data to give you more specific information. Please feel free to call my office to set up a consultation by phone to discuss this further (714-738-4200).
Best of luck!
