We are Australians seeking information on your donor egg IVF program.
Can you please help with the following questions:
* is the donor's identity kept secret for all time?
* Can the donor ever be allowed to contact the child?
* Do we have input into the choice of the donor or their characteristics eg
age, background?
* what physical and mental health checks does the donor go through?
* For what period of time do we need to stay in Los Angeles to attend your
* Do we need to have tests here beforehand? If so, which tests?
* What is the cost?
* How long in advance do we need for the first appointment?
* Can we arrange a telephone consultation with one of your doctors - what is
the cost for this?
Thank you very much.

Hello Agas and Naomi-Thank you so much for your questions. We would be more than happy to assist you and we can either set up a phone or Skype appointment so that we can discuss the procedure, success rates, time requirements, etc in detail. If you would like to come to our West Los Angeles or Encino offices, please orchestrate this with Nichole (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). She can also assist you with some financial questions.
However in the interim you should know that you absolutely have a say in the donor's characteristics, and even what your relationship would be with the donor whether totally anonymous or known. Regardless of the scenario you desire, there are legal contracts that will specify your desired course of action/relationship. Generally once you have chosen a donor, a cycle plan will be constructed, and if you live in a place that will do some testing prior to your arrival, we can generally limit your time in Los Angeles to about 2 weeks.
I look forward to speaking with you.
