Dr. Nelson's research interests include all aspects of reproductive medicine including:
Optimization of pregnancy rates through individualization of IVF treatment protocols
Advanced reproductive technologies and extended culture of human blastocysts, Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), and blastocyst transfer
Third party reproductive solutions, including egg donation for women of advanced maternal age, gestational surrogacy, and embryo donation
Fertility preservation through sperm banking as well as ovarian stimulation followed by oocyte cryopreservation and storage
Dr. Nelson co-authored one of the largest clinically relevant studies determining optimal ovarian stimulation protocols for IVF.
Dr. Nelson has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented his findings at professional conferences which have included both national and interntaional audiences.
Dr. Nelson is the longest standing member of HRC Fertility, having joined the practice in 1992.
