For the last 2 seasons, Bill Klein and Jennifer Arnold of TLC's "The Little Couple" have been working with Dr. Robert Boostanfar of HRC's Encino location with the plans to use a surrogate to have a baby. Last night, Tuesday, May 31st, Dr. Boostanfar returned to The Little Couple on the season 4 premiere episode "Third Time's a Charm?"
The episode features Jen's first egg extraction attempt as the couple begins their journey to start a family. Make sure you check your local listings to catch the episode and Dr. Boostanfar on this season of The Little Couple!

IVF Clinical Trial
Phase III Clinical Research Study: Investigation of a Sustained Release Gonadotropin for Women Needing In Vitro Fertilization
The study will determine if a single injection of the investigational fertility drug can stimulate the growth of follicles in the ovaries for up to 7 days, thereby replacing 7 daily stimulation injections.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Age between 35 and 42 years old
- Normal weight for height
- Regular Menstrual Cycles
- No medications for any medical condition, including thyroid disease
- No than 3 consecutive failed IVF cycles
The IVF cycle and investigational stimulation medications will be provided at no cost to patients who qualify.

Individuals interested in learning more about this study should call the Encino office at 818-788-7288 for an initial phone screening and consultation with one of our participating study doctors to determine if they qualify.

Bill Klein and Jennifer Arnold of TLC's "The Little Couple" visited HRC Fertility on a recent episode. Jen, 35, is a neonatologist at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston and Bill, 34, owns his own sales, training and telecommunications business in New York. Bill and Jen, who has spondylo-epiphyseal dysplasia, are working with Dr. Robert Boostanfar of HRC's Encino location, and are planning on using a surrogate to have a baby.
